Elizabeth Arnold, LMFT
I am a person-centered, strengths based therapist who is focused on making the healing process uniquely personal and accessible to every client without judgment. I believe in a non-pathologizing and collaborative approach grounded in the values and techniques of Internal Family Systems (Level 1 Trained), Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Client-Centered Play Therapy, and Restoration Therapy. I am trauma-informed and LGBTQ+ affirming. In therapy and my personal life, I value curiosity, creativity, interdependence, and humor. I believe therapy is an investment in a relationship, and I strive to create an authentic, approachable space that allows for you to experience yourself in fullness.
I work primarily with women (16+), heterosexual and LGBTQ+ couples, and family groups.
I graduated with my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) from Lipscomb University with a specialization in client-centered play therapy and expressive arts. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (license #2535) serving clients in-person and via telehealth in the Nashville area, and I offer telehealth services across the state of Tennessee. I received my undergraduate from Belmont University. I hail from Austin, Texas but have also spent several years in NYC and Nashville. I love hearty laughter, live music, new experiences, making art, crafting, singing, dancing, cooking, and spending time with my husband, family, and friends.
